As missionaries with ABWE, we hold to the doctrinal statement held by ABWE, found at the link below on ABWE’s website.

Additionally, as a point of clarification, while we use the KJV as our personal Bible version, as overseas missionaries, we may use other versions at times when the content is the same but the words are simply easier to understand in a modern-day context, especially for non-native English speakers in a non-US context (or even for US-based individuals who are unchurched). While we do believe the KJV is the best version, we do not believe that the KJV is the only BIble version people can use. Obviously within a church context we want to use the version you are most comfortable with, but also please understand we hold salvation in Jesus Christ alone as the most important belief for salvation, rather than the Bible version someone may use.

We say this out of love and full transparency for our brothers and sisters in Christ who may hold to a belief we do not personally hold.
